  1. I just want to say that this was my 1st NAWBO conference ….but not the last one. I had a great time with all you girls from our Florida 2 chapters (Ft. Lauderdale and Miami). I had the opportunity to network with a lot of other successful women throughout the United States. We listened and got energized by some terrific speakers. We laughed, we ate, we networked, we learned, we drank, then we laughed, we drank, we networked, and learned….occasionally we slept! GOOD TIME HAD BY ALL. I think we all made some new friends and just mixed with some awesome business people and had a great deal of fun as well. Looking forward to the NAWBO National Conference next year!

  2. This was my 6th conference, 4th year exhibiting. It truly is a one of a kind experience. I still remember my first conference … having a long conversation in the bathroom, meeting the National President elect in the spa and not knowing it till later and being there to help congratulate one of my fellow NAWBOettes as she receives an award. You will get to know your local gals better and on a deeper level but also create new friends that expand the globe and all because you have one thing in common… NAWBO. Its a word that you know brings a certain level of professionalism and sisterhood that no other networking or group can provide. I look forward to seeing my sisters again in Chicago and once again having a booth to help get me to that next level.

    Cheers to another prosperous year!

  3. NAWBO’s 2008 conference was Great! Arizona was great!!! This was only my 2nd conference and I really enjoyed it. There is always the networking and chance of doing business with other businesswomen that remains the draw to such a conference. You never know what you are going to see or hear at the conference and we were not disappointed; hearing Nely Galan speak to a group of women about empowerment and entrepreneurship was phenomenal. I believe that women are the key to solving the world’s problems. They are the nurturers of the young and the glue that holds families together. The solution is educating men about the value of women.

Also, the healthcare seminar was good. I thought it was a great platform to speak about the presidential candidates’ policy on healthcare and how it fits in with NAWBO’s position. The speaker was excellent.

Most important… I got to spend lots of time with my Florida NAWBO friends in a beautiful setting…(Arizona).

I hope I am able to attend next year (Chicago). I cannot wait.

  4. This was my second NAWBO conference and like last year’s, it was educational, inspirational and a great deal of fun. Opportunities abound to improve oneself and one’s business. It is wondeful to be affiliated with such a tremendous group of women and the Fort Lauderdale NAWBO chapter in particular. I look forward to 2009 in Chicago and another fantastic conference.
